I sent a txt message to a local radio station to enter a contest they were sponsoring. The reply back from that message that said "Thanks for entering to win. txt RICH to 258258 to win $100K

A recent txt update from the radio station announcing they are now on facebook also included a tag at the end of the message "Enter to win $100K txt CASH to 258258.

My guess was it was a seperate site that would charge me and i was right. Glad i did not txt anything to that number. I am sure the radio station gets some $$ for advertising - probably a % of the $9.99 a month for cells phone users in my area that unknowingly txt for $100K and end up paying for it.

But always double check the charges on your cell and get them taken care of right away!
